Anime Club: A Registered Student Organization at the University of Texas at Austin

Welcome to the Anime Club at the University of Texas at Austin!

For the past 29 years, we have been providing anime fans at UT a place to meet, socialize, and watch anime together. From classics of the medium to the latest titles from Japan, our weekly screenings have something for everyone!

We meet every Friday evening at 7:00 PM in Welch Hall, room 1.316. We meet throughout the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters, with the exception of exam weeks, school holidays, and occasional nights off (e.g. when an anime convention is being held nearby). For a complete listing of current events, please see the current semester’s schedules.

All of our events are free and open to the public, so please feel free to come by and check us out! For more information about our organization and activities, and to learn the awesome benefits of full membership, check out the links at the top of the page.

We hope to see you at our next meeting!

Latest News and Updates

We are victorious—our traditional room, WEL 1.316, is ours once more! The schedule pages have been updated accordingly.

We hope to see all of you there tonight!
We hope you’ve had a good winter break and are ready to get back to studying—or at least, back to Anime Club, which is no doubt the primary reason you’re here at UT.

We’ll be resuming our weekly meetings this Friday, January 20th. However, please note that we might not be in our usual room (or building) this semester! We’re still working on that, but at least for now, the Student Orgs office have allocated a different location for us from our usual meeting place. So be sure to check this web site for last-minute changes before this week’s meeting! (Really, that’s good advice for any week; but especially so right now.)

We hope to see you all there (wherever “there” ends up being) this Friday!
